Rise of a Phenom: From Junior Champion to WorldTour Contender
Seixas's transition to the professional ranks in 2025 was highly anticipated after a dominant junior career where he captured the rainbow jersey. UAE Team Emirates beat out several rival WorldTour squads to secure his signature, locking him down on a contract through 2027. This strategic signing highlights UAE's aggressive recruitment policy targeting elite under-23 prospects to support their Grand Tour ambitions.
The decision to join UAE Team Emirates over French development teams was a bold tactical move. While domestic squads offered immediate leadership, UAE offered unparalleled scientific coaching and a chance to train alongside the world's best. Under his current coaching staff, the young Frenchman has steadily transitioned from shorter junior races to grueling WorldTour stage events. His ability to hold high-wattage outputs in time trials while matching elite climbers in high-altitude training camps has quickly made him a versatile asset for the team.

Grand Tour Ambitions and the Road to the 2027 Season
As the 2026 season progresses toward the autumn classics, team directors are carefully managing Seixas’s workload to avoid premature burnout. Speculation is already mounting regarding his Grand Tour debut, which team insiders hint could happen as early as the 2027 Giro d'Italia or Vuelta a España.
Modern Grand Tours heavily reward riders who can limit losses in time trials, and Seixas’s background as a junior world champion against the clock gives UAE Team Emirates a dual-threat weapon for future general classification battles. With team captain Tadej Pogačar leading the charge, Seixas is in the perfect environment to learn the nuances of leadership. His development over the next twelve months will determine whether he steps into a co-leadership role or remains a luxury domestique for UAE's Grand Tour campaigns.
