If you want to put in the time and effort to do what I did, it resulted in the successful removal of Fingerhut from all 3 credit bureaus. Re: Did anyone get this email from WebBank/Fingerhut? The reason for the letter is because Fingerhut is scaling it's operations down. They're eliminating the option for purchases using the accounts mentioned in the letter. Fingerhut fraud I had an alert from Experian showing a hard pull for today for fingerhut. Someone got my identity and opened up an account and charged $580.97 worth of junk.

So I opened my Fingerhut account shortly after my BK, and have never used it. Now that I'm a year and 4 months post DC, I don't want to close it, as having the 500cl unused is helping my scores. Does anyone know the timeframe of when they will close the account due to inactivity? Thanks :smileyhap...
